1st Assault is a band that wants nothing more than to party and live the rock'n'roll lifestyle. We spend most of our money on new tattoos, removing lame ones, booze and expensive ass music videos. When we feel like it we write music too. We stole some equipment and forced someone at gunpoint to record this demo. We barely knew how to play but we wanted to get our ideas out there. This is what came out it. 🎉

THESE PRETZELS ARE SALTY

June 23, 2010
A brutal song about our love for salty pretzels. This is the 1st song and video they ever made. They thought it was heavy as balls. It initially aired on a late night cable T.V. metal music video channel in Chicago in a 4:3 format in February 23, 2010 but was rereleased for Myspace in 16:9. The name comes from a skit from Seinfeld. They used a mini-DV handycam that used tape and had awful sound quality. They paid Hackit, some homeless dude in the alley out back, to hold the camera. It was edited for Krusty's college class. But it gave the world it's first look at the band.

CARNAGE PWNAGE

November 8, 2010
Major Pwnage on the Battlefield! This was the 2nd music video released by the band. It had a much higher budget. Animation done by Drw00t. This was the 2nd version that went from 4:3 to 16:9 as it initially was released for a local cable access T.V. channel that showed metal music videos in Chicago.

PARANOIA JUNKIE

July 03, 2010
Don't do drugs......This is the 3rd song and video from the band, it was a pain to make haha. Lets just say the band had a really bad trip... The band after success from their first two videos ended up getting a bit full of themselves and had a "psychedelic" period with lots of experimentation. Dunno....it was weird. The video reflects that for sure.

NO RUSH

October 6, 2010
After a while the band started to get complacent and fans were getting a bit discouraged. So feeling the pressure, they released this song and music video. They thought it was catchy enough. This song also helped create the sound for their eventual Punk Riots EP, in which the song got an extended version called No Rush Anarchy.
